This goes against all the shit I’ve heard from fans of other teams and a group of simple people that push the “Hollywood Ben” narrative.

We can also throw some water on the “Ben and Joel can’t play together” fire that losers like Jason McIntyre continue to stoke on national podcasts. And before you ask, yes I do understand the hypocrisy of that statement as I sit on my couch after working my hourly job that doesn’t pay enough. My point is Philadelphia is an easy target for national media because we are a multi sport knowledgeable fanbase. Don’t buy in and let them drive a wedge between us. Ben Simmons gets along just fine with Joel Embiid. They are both products of the Hinkie/NBA divorce which brings them even closer in an ultimate pursuit to silence the anti-tankers. The only Hollywood involvement here will come 30 years down the road when one of Spielberg’s kids make a movie and I can stream it to my car windshield as I collect my AI income.

Of course, what else was he going to say in that situation? Tell Doris he’s been longing to live the Cali lifestyle? He can’t wait to save the Lakers from the Lebron saga?
