AJ BROWN IS A PHILADELPHIA EAGLE!!!

We did it!

We did it!

It is tremendous pride and greatest pleasure to announce that the Eagles have acquired young Tennessee Titans receiving sensation AJ Brown in exchange for the 18th and 101st picks of the draft.

Considering the absolute humiliation of the Eagles missing out on all the great wide receivers from the 2019 and 2020 draft, it is awesome to see they went out and got one of those guys (even if they had pay them a $100 million contract to have him as well.)

Not since getting Terrell Owens have the Birds acquired a skill position player as good as AJ Brown. In three seasons with the Titans, Brown emerged as one of the better young weapons in the NFL despite being in an offense that relied heavily at on the run game. And he will be turning 25 years old this June, meaning that with the new contact the Eagles will most likely have him for the rest of his 20s.

Based on his production in Tennessee, Brown is one of the most talented receivers the Eagles have ever had and could go down as one of the best catchers in Birds history. Him and DeVonta Smith could become one of if not the best wide receiving duo in the NFL and make us forget about those other receivers they drafted.

With Jalen Hurts being surrounded by a more talented crew and still on his rookie contract, the Eagles have massively improved with the addition of an established skill position player. These additions should improve Hurts’ confidence and suddenly make the Eagles look like possible NFC East contenders.

And also. Brown has worn 11 in his three season in Tennessee meaning he will most likely wear 11 in Philadelphia. Let us thank Brown and Howie Roseman for getting a great Number 11 so we can all take out Carson Wentz jerseys and Shirseys and duck tape BROWN over WENTZ on the back.

The Sixers advance, the Phillies sweep the Rockies, the Eagles got AJ Brown. TODAY HAS BEEN A GOOD DAY TO BE A PHILLY SPORTS FAN!!!
