Matvei Michkov Is Already Lighting Up The KHL Preseason

Yea so like this kid is going to be GOOD in case you already didn’t know.

The preseason is officially underway and Flyers first round draft pick Matvei Michkov has wasted no time showing off his skills.

He started off the game feeding his teammate on a beautiful pass that led to a goal.

You already saw his goal in the first tweet I included in this blog and he did all of this in just the first period of the game.

His team would go on to lose in overtime 3-2 so basically he’s already getting used to what it’s like to be on the Flyers.

The two teams would also do a five round shootout that SKA would win 2-1 thanks to a goal from yup, you guessed it Matvei Michkov. He was the 5th and final shooter and he put one through the five hole of the goaltender.

It’s great to see this kid get off to a hot start even if it is only preseason. We don’t know what we are going to get out of the Flyers this year, so at least we can look forward to Michkov lighting up the KHL. As much as I am not in a rush so that the Flyers can properly rebuild, god I hope we don’t have to wait three years for him to come over.

This kid is going to be special and all the teams that let him fall to the Flyers at 7 are going to be regretting this for many many years to come.
