Phillies Bryce Harper Is Going To Be A Girl Dad

Remember the big sticking point rumor last offseason that Bryce Harper hated Philadelphia. Hated everything about the city and would never come here?



Well, that pretty much solved itself and that supposed hatred for the city turned out actually to be love. A lot of love. Love that Bryce has said multiple times is the best decision he has ever made in his life. His journey took another turn last season right after signing in Philadelphia.

About 3 weeks after signing, Bryce & his wife Kayla announced that they were having a baby boy.

This was one of Bryce’s big interview quotes from his negotiations because he & Kayla wanted to start a family.  If you watched NBCPhilly special, Signing Harper, Bryce & Kayla both voiced their pleasure with the family talk they had with John Middleton & his wife Leigh in Las Vegas.

See, that is what the Phillies are. One big family. Just look at the people that work there. It is generation after generation of family trees inside the organization and at the ball park and the Phillies family keeps getting bigger and bigger by the year.




And, it is not just the Phillies who are growing.

Today, Bryce & Kayla announced they are expecting a baby girl.

Congratulations to Bryce & Kayla Harper on welcoming their second child into the world. Bryce is now a girl dad & Krew is going to be a big brother.

So, remember, whoever you are that said Bryce hated Philly. Bryce hates Philly so much, that he has now had two kids in the city of Brotherly Love.
