Eagles Landing Some New Faces on Defense
The world may be stopped by the NFL is not. Howie Roseman never sleeps and the grind never stops. As Malcolm Jenkins penned his farewell letter to Philadelphia, the Eagles GM put pen to paper with two new players.
Firstly, the Eagles agreed to a deal with former Chargers linebacker, Jatavis Brown. What an interesting career this guy has had. He’s fast as shit and a combine athlete freak. He led the team in solo tackles his rookie season in 2016, came back with a career year in 2017. By last year, he had completely fallen off. He made a position changed to inside linebacker and never played. So odd to go from one spectrum to the other. Chalk it up as a low risk, very high reward signing.
Less than an hour later, the Eagles were back at it and nabbed Philly native, Will Parks. The Eagles need safety help after Malcolm Jenkins left with big shoes to fill. We know Jalen Mills is changing positions but 1) we have no idea how that will work out? 2) it’s nice to have some depth. Adam Schefter reported Parks “left other deals on the table” to sign with the Eagles. LOVE to hear that.
Former Broncos’ safety Will Parks reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, per source.
Eagles needed another safety having lost Malcolm Jenkins to the Saints and land the former Bronco. Parks left other deals on table for Eagles’ opportunity.

It’ll certainly be a different feel for the Eagles come fall. Malcolm Jenkins said his goodbyes. Nelson Agholor has reportedly landed in Vegas. A lot of new faces coming in.
