In an NBA season already defined by tragic events such as the death of Kobe Bryant, their controversial relations with China, and the death of former Commissioner David Stern, the suspension of games has made a dark year of basketball even darker.
This announcement will likely have a chain reaction for other sports and events around the country such as the NHL and MLB seasons.
This also comes around the same time to the devastating news that Tom and Rita Hanks have tested positive for the CoronaVirus. The disease that was compared as the Ebola or Swine Flu of 2020 has already surpass them in effectiveness. Things will likely get worse before they get better.
No further news has been reported in regards as to when the NBA season will resume.
