Ben Simmons Hit His First EVER Three Pointer, and it Somehow Wasn’t Even the Best Part of His Game That Night

What if I told you, Ben Simmons hit his first ever regular season three pointer and it was the most iconic moment in American history since the moon landing. But, it wasn’t the best portion of Simmons game against the Knicks.

Late in the 3rd, Philly was down by 17 (SEVENTEEN!!!!) to the god damn Knicks when Ben Simmons turned into an absolute maniac on both ends of the floor.
At one point, he created back to back turnovers, and was responsible for 10 straight points (both scoring and assisting). As the fourth quarter began, he was up to 14 points responsible for and forced his third turnover of the run. The steal isn’t featured in the video below, but his pretty touch pass to Embiid is.

For someone who is rumored to not like American football that much, Simmons featured tracking on that play that the Eagles secondary and receivers have needed the entire season.
The three pointer is nice. The crowd reaction was hilarious. But it’s a cherry on top. Simmons can elevate his game and this team by constantly being in attack mode (making free throws once he gets fouled in attack mode), and playing stymying defense both on ball and in the passing lanes. In his 42(!!) minutes tonight, Ben went into the attack mode and pulled the Sixers out of a 17 point hole. That’s what stars do.
Oh, and he’s now a career 1.000 percent three point shooter. It’s called efficiency. Look it up, idiots.
