How Knicks head David Fizdale didn’t call two timeout just for good measure after the volcanic eruption from the crowd is a question that would puzzle even the greatest modern day thinkers, but God that is a crowd that was promised Ben Simmons 3s, and finally got one. The explosion from an entire mob filled with “when will he shoot the ball” questions were finally fed their answer.

Grease up the light posts cause we’re hitting the streets tonight Philly!!!! This night will live in Philadelphia sports lore forever. The Eastern Conference Revenge Tour can finally start now. When we’re all celebrating on Broad street this summer we’ll remember this special night that started a legendary season. After a tough week for Philly sports, Ben Simmons said fuck these wide receivers who can’t catch, I’m here to save you Philly.

You can call the fat lady and tell her to sing because this season is over. Ben developing a jumpshot was always the endgame for this teams transformation into perennial championship favorites. With two guys on the floor now who can just say at any point “screw it, I’m the best guy on this hardwood” it’s hard to not to start calling out of work in advance for the parade.
