The Eagles Couldn’t Even Get Through the Bye Week Without Injuries, So Here Comes Jay Ajayi

I don’t why everybody on the Eagles keep getting injured (or everybody on all our sports teams for that matter). It’s either a gross malpractice job done on part of the medical professionals running the show for philly sports or an atonement for our sins from 2017. Either way, it’s a huge problem that needs to be addressed long term. Short term we need to field as competitive of a team as possible. We’re limping through this season but are still in a spot to contend if we put it all together. With Sproles on the IR and Jordan Howard’s health in question the Eagles made a trip to the recycling bin once again to sign Jay Ajayi.

Now he may be damaged goods at this point in his career, but there still might be some juice left in Ajayi. He was running back much like Howard who was really dynamic out of the backfield and seemed to fall forward for 4 yards every time he got tackled. A guy that still wreaks of 2017 Super Bowl hardware could be the tiny spark that might be able to get something going on drives, hopefully in the first half.

This doesn’t fill all the many many holes we still seem to have but since Howie refuses to move to save the secondary, we’re just gonna keep resigning former eagles. The perfect underdogs as we roll into the biggest challenge of the year (this is me telling you to bet the house on the birds).
