Not to Get Ahead of Ourselves but the Sixers 82-0 Season is Still In Tact and They May Never Lose to the Celtics Ever Again

The Sixers played alright. This is true. They had way too many turnovers, sent the Celtics to the free throw line far too often, and had a Jordan-esque 3pt percentage (23%).

BUT,

The Sixers played like shit and beat the Boston Celtics BY 14 POINTS. 14. Last year that wasn’t even imaginable. This time last year we would’ve all been yelling at our TVs as the 8th man in the Celtics rotation put up 17, 10, and 10 on us while we fight to remain within 8 points of them. The last two years I’ve lost my voice by shouting “HES NOT EVEN GOOD” at Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier as they tore us apart. Now, there doesn’t look like a single player on that Celtics roster that could handle the bully ball defense. Hayward, Brown, Walker. Money well spent, Danny Ainge. What a difference a year makes.

The Sixers looked like a team that had never played basketball together before for most of the game (and a lot of them really haven’t). Still they got the job done in convincing fashion. Against a team that is supposed to be a contender in the wide open east. Can you imagine what is going to happen when even the slightest form of team chemistry starts to build? 82-0 is absolutely on the table. Never losing to the Celtics ever again ever is absolutely on the table. Covering every bet by putting it all on the Sixers with the points is absolutely on the table! I am simply overwhelmed.

The Phillies have let us down. The Eagles, thus far, have let us down. But the Sixers… the Sixers are the prodigal son that has returned. The process has never been trusted more than right now.

Cue the music
