Booing Is Once Again a Topic of Conversation at Philly Sporting Events

Wow, this is the worst story on the topic of fans booing I can remember in SO long:

I didn’t realize it until last night when I saw Rodriguez in street clothes and a duck hat, but he looks like an early Fast & Furious movie character. So there’s that.

I often times think Philly fans are WAY over the top with negativity and boo feverishly when it’s uncalled for.  But, do the 2019 Phillies think people shouldn’t be booing the 2019 Phillies? BOLD statement about 30 hours after losing a series to the Marlins.

It was a really bad day for accountability in the Phillies locker room. Before the game even started, Cesar Hernandez didn’t know he was benched for not hustling. Then Sean Rodriguez claims the fans are entitled for booing the Phillies mediocre play. Are there no mirrors in the Phillies clubhouse to look in?!

Rodriguez’ message in its entirety made sense even though he will get ripped for the “entitled” comment. He looks for positivity, he’s motivated by the fans who tell him to hang in there. It’s not a bad way to survive as a pro athlete. Unfortunately, he will  probably be the only athlete to get booed the night after hitting a walk-off home run.
