Tom Brady Would REALLY Like It If We Stopped Making Fun of Him For Super Bowl 52

A few months ago, Tom Brady made his presence felt on social media the way he has made his presence felt in the league for two decades. Brady quickly shot up the ranks as far as “must follows” on Twitter shortly after creating his account. When Boston sports fans sold their souls for unlimited sports success, they were obligated to appreciate and laugh at all of Tom Brady’s jokes on Twitter.

Well, they got another gem today. But, in backfired in a hurry.

Wow, you hate to see cyberbullying going on here. Brady tweeting this for Eagles fans to see is like when the hyenas surround Scar at the end of Lion King.

I mean, people are being very mean to Tom Brady for dropping a crucial pass in the Super Bowl, getting outplayed by a back-up quarterback, fumbling with two minutes left in the game and ultimately losing said Super Bowl. We should really, really stop bringing that embarrassing moment up.

The best part about the whole thing: Brady tweeted the picture of him catching that pass and in less than one minute, responded to himself asking people not to make jokes about Super Bowl LII. He knew how badly he fucked up as soon as he pressed send. Pressing send on a tweet only for your body to immediately be filled with despair is the worsttttt feeling. The only feeling that is probably worse is dropping an easy pass in the Super Bowl while millions of people are watching.

Luckily for Tom, Baker Mayfield made sure Brady didn’t have the worst moment on the internet for NFL quarterbacks today.
