Miami Insider Thinks Sixers Jimmy Butler Wants The Heat For What Reason?
The NBA moratorium period doesn’t start until tomorrow at 6pm. Which everyone knows is a huge load of s**t because teams have been talking numbers with players since the draft. But, to keep with the NBA rules, nothing is officially announced til tomorrow after 6pm. But, today is where we start to learn where some of the key free agents will play next season.
All the NBA insiders do their best each season to make up fun ways to announce the “offers” the players receive. But, surprisingly, somehow the player and team come to terms in a matter of seconds after the moratorium period starts. SHOCKER, I know right?
Today, at 4:40pm, a WOJ BOMB was dropped and we already have our first “signing” to announce. But, remember, no offer has been made or discussed yet. (wink-wink) Then, at 6:00pm, another WOJ BOMB was dropped and we had another signing.
Kemba Walker and Kyrie Irving were never seen in the Sixers offseason plans. But, one star free agent who the Sixers hope to re-sign is Jimmy Butler. The Sixers are hoping they can re-sign Butler to reunite him with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.
However, after another WOJ BOMB, Jimmy Butler is expected to meet with the Heat tomorrow when the moratorium period opens and Houston early next week. The Houston interest was known to the Philadelphia faithful already. But, the Heat interest is somewhat new news. And according to this Miami Heat insider, Butler has his sites set on the Heat for an odd reason.
Source says Jimmy Butler’s “mind was totally blown” by all the pomp and circumstance surrounding Dwyane Wade’s last home game, with him telling friends afterward that being able to see what Miami and the Heat organization are about left an enormous impact on him.

Yes, you are reading that correctly. This clown thinks Jimmy Butler wants to sign with the Heat because of a potential party at the end of his career. A retirement party if you say the least.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Nothing about Butler’s desire to win a NBA Championship, which he has said multiple times in his time with the Sixers, but for a potential party. But, it gets even better. Before this tweet, Tim “the clown” Reynolds said he didn’t expect the meeting to be in Miami, but he knows Jimmy made it clear that he wanted to hear Riley’s pitch.
So, Butler wants to hear Riley’s pitch, but Butler wants to go there because of a potential party like Wade got?
The stuff that some people say to get interest for people to click is hilarious. Reynolds needs to write an article so we can actually read more than 256 characters of what he meant.
If it’s true, who is RSVPing to Butler’s retirement party in Miami in 2023? Get your tickets now before they run out. LOL
