“There’s a Real Possibility He’s Played His Last Game With the Sixers”
You may have heard via Woj Bombs that the trade deadline is quickly approaching. As we sit one day away from surviving Anthony Davis to LA rumors, Woj and Zach Lowe hosted their annual trade deadline special.
"Those guys aren't on the team if Markelle Fultz is a normal No. 1 overall pick," @ZachLowe_NBA says on his deadline special with @wojespn. Woj says they've talked to Atlanta, Orlando about him: "There's a real possibility he's played his last game with the Sixers."

Since the Sixers made an enormous splash today, the team came up a bit. They obviously talked about the move for both Philly and the Clippers. But they also talked about how we got here:
It hurts to hear that the Fultz era could be over less than two years after its commencement. But, it seems like the front office (Brett Brown’s comments last night) and fans alike are coming to that realization.
I am sad. This is my favorite picture ever.
I am the single person ready to get hurt again by the same significant other as before. I am ready to give Markelle Fultz his 87th chance. What shoulder excuse do you have for me this time? I’m sorry but I just don’t believe a player of his caliber could become that bad essentially overnight.
But for the Sixers and Elton Brand, who made two “win now” moves in the span of Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day, they don’t have time to wait. We have graduated from “Trust the Process”. They don’t have time figure Fultz out and have Fultz figure himself out. Because by July 1st at midnight they need to know whether this core four works. And that can’t happen when you have situations like earlier this year where Fultz is starting over Redick.
I want Markelle Fultz to succeed like my son to succeed. But I’m afraid we may have to put my son up for adoption and see if he’ll succeed in another family.
