Marcus Morris Assaults Own Teammate in Celtics Huddle, No Word Yet On if Jimmy Butler is to Blame
If you missed it last night, you missed an extremely ugly scene during the Celtics embarrassing loss to the mediocre Heat. A game in which the C’s lost by 16 points, but who’s counting? Here’s the melee that occurred in the Celtics huddle:
Jaylen Brown and Marcus Morris had to get separated during a timeout…

Come on guys, NBA games are supposed to be family friendly events. What are parents supposed to tell their kids after they see this? Kids all over New England are going to be shoving their teammates at AAU tournaments this spring.
Of course infamous bad teammate, Gordon Hayward, is just standing there. Hayward admitted he rooted against the Celtics when he was hurt. So, he was probably hoping Jaylen Brown would bludgeon Morris.
I’m surprised Marcus Smart was able to break this scuffle up without flopping.
I will be spending my day patiently waiting for a Woj Bomb detailing the Celtics locker room issues. Or does he only do that for Philly because it gets ESPN more clicks? Or maybe, ESPN can find a way to spin this into Jimmy Butler’s fault. Now we’re cooking.
