HERE WE GO AGAIN

THE EAGLES ARE STILL ALIVE. I REPEAT. THE EAGLES ARE STILL ALIVE.

The defending Super Bowl Champs, the Philadelphia Eagles, are on to New Orleans after a 16-15 win against the Chicago Bears in Week 1 of the NFL Playoffs.

Something the Atlanta Falcons couldn’t do last season, the Eagles actually scored on 4th and goal from the 2-yard line to take a 16-15 lead with 56 seconds remaining.

Trade deadline pickup, Golden Tate, caught a Nick Foles touchdown pass with 56 seconds left for the winning touchdown. Then, after making the first 43-yard attempt after Doug Pederson called a timeout, former Eagle, Cody Parkey rang the official 43-yard attempt off the up-right and the cross-bar.

The Nick Foles magic lives to fight another day. Now, Nick Foles and the Eagles head to New Orleans for a Week 11 rematch with the Saints.

Look at all football movies. The team they make the movie about gets destroyed in their first match-up with a team. Then, in the eventual rematch, that team comes out on top.

This has Hollywood written all over it.

THE BIRDS ARE STILL ALIVE AND ON TO THE DIVISIONAL ROUND IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!
