Kyrie Irving Actually Made Himself Look Like An IDIOT On Christmas
What a performance from Kyrie Irving on Christmas. It was one of those performances where you couldn’t even be mad because he played fantastic basketball. 40 points, the game-tying bucket at the end of regulation, and two back breaking three pointers in overtime. It was a real Grinch move on his part to ruin Christmas like that.
But, what if I told you he actually made himself look like an IDIOT?
The Coriolis effect. That’s why. It’s defined as how a moving object “seems to veer toward the right in the Northern hemisphere and left in the Southern Hemisphere”. Essentially, we are in constant rotation with the Earth. If we were to throw a ball straight up in the air, it wouldn’t land on our head. It would curve because of the spinning momentum of Earth. We will be moving with the earth but the ball will not.
Therefore, if the Earth were FLAT, like Kyrie thinks, his three pointers in overtime, especially the one in transition, would NOT have gone in.
So, jokes on you Kyrie, having a big game only stands to prove that you were wrong. We may have lost the battle, but we won the war. I’m still not sure what Conor McGregor meant when he said that. But, I will use any coping mechanism possible after losing to Boston yet again.
