Washington Pulls Off All Time Bad Karma Move Right Before Playing the Eagles

The most racist franchise in all of sports has just added a player with more arrests than seasons played due to his habit of beating women.

Surprising? No, not from Dan Snyder.

Washington has been nothing but an average team for as long as I can remember. I’m 20, mind you, but in my lifetime (also the Dan Snyder era) they have won two playoff games and of the last 19 seasons, they’ve had between five and eight wins 12 times. Boring. Vanilla. Average.

These are obvious signs of an organization who cannot figure out how to make anything happen.

In his latest sad attempt to try to avoid the inevitable 6-8 win year, they claimed Reuben Foster off waivers. This was after Foster was arrested for domestic assault charges as a member of the 49ers, who have been outspoken as being strict with players who get in trouble with the law. Washington didn’t even wait for him to clear waivers to sign him, they had to go get him right away. I’m sure there was a huge bidding war and couldn’t wait!

This shows that Snyder’s only priority is winning and once again has no sign of a moral compass. I would be embarrassed to be a Washington fan this week (and every week to have to rep that name).

Via USA Today, the Eagles were the only team to contact the police about the incident and must have felt the situation was serious enough to avoid him (we’re ahead of the Redskins in waiver priority). Washington not even calling before putting in their claim proves what a sad, pathetic man Snyder is.

But are any of us surprised that a man who can’t simply change a belligerently racist franchise’s name would do such a thing?

Foster has been placed on the commissioner’s exempt list so he will not even be playing for Washington for the time being. Thus making the move even more embarrassing and head-scratching seeing as they get all the negative press with no production to balance it out.

The Eagles may have their issues on the field but rest easy knowing that our franchise does not openly condone racism and domestic abuse.

In a time where the luck feels to be swinging back in the Eagles direction if only even slightly, it is great to see Washington will be coming into town carrying the heavy burden of bad karma. This article may seem like a jynx, but is it more of jynx than having Dan Snyder as an owner?

So, I say thank you to you, Washington. Much like Eli Manning throwing an interception at the end of the half last week, I knew I could count on you to screw yourself over. The Karma Gods have been killing the Eagles all year. It’s only fair they are, because we cashed in all our karma points for a Super Bowl. We’ve been marred with injuries, killed by the schedule. We couldn’t even get a 15 minute banner ceremony in because of one single storm cell. That screams bad karma. But then, just in the nick of time, the Redskins pull off the all time bad karma move by claiming Foster. Thank you, Washington, you really know how to remain both mediocre yet unlikable.
