Is ESPN Trolling Philadelphians Or Do They Know Something?
Lets get everyone’s mind off what happened yesterday in New Orleans and focus on something else. Uhmm…. What could we possibly talk about?
Oh. Lets talk about ESPN and Sunday Night Baseball.
In a normal season, ESPN makes a spectacular out of opening day weekend for the reigning World Series Champion. Normally, they get their own game on Thursday night to open the season. Then, are on national TV on Saturday. And, then back to ESPN for Sunday Night Baseball.
Well, this season is going to be a little different. Instead of Red Sox-Mariners, ESPN is going with Braves-Phillies?
The Phillies’ game against the Braves on March 31 at CBP has been chosen as MLB’s first Sunday Night Baseball game of the season. Will be a 7 p.m. start on ESPN.

Yes, you are reading that correctly. ESPN Opening-Day Weekend Sunday Night Baseball will be in Philadelphia for Braves-Phillies.
Why? What does an average Phillies team and a young Braves team do for ESPN? Absolutely nothing. Therefore, lets get the mind thinking a little. What could entice ESPN to come to Philadelphia? Uhm………..
DING DING DING. BRYCE “F**KING” HARPER.
Bryce Harper would give ESPN a big reason to come to Philadelphia for opening weekend.
Now, you can read into this all you want. But, more and more signs keep surfacing that Bryce Harper will be on the Phillies Opening Day Lineup.
