London Has Become A Suburb Of Philadelphia
Welcome to London. The new suburb of the great city of Philadelphia. The Eagles will be renamed for the week, the Philadelphia “London” Eagles.
The Philadelphia Eagles are in London to visit the Jacksonville Jaguars. Or, should I say host the Jaguars?
According to the league schedule, this is a Jaguars home game. The Jaguars will get the home side, the home locker room, the home everything. But, will they have the home crowd? That is something they will not have.
We know the Eagles are one of the most well traveled teams in the NFL. But, this would be a test. Would Eagles fans travel across the pond and take over London?
Well, they have done just that.
Eagles fans are taking over London!@StubHub says this is the most in demand ticket of the NFL season, and itβs all because of Birds fans
41% of Stubhub ticket sales have come from PA, the most ever from any state for a London game!
Only 5% from FL π#FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/GUIYMo5lJU— John Clark (@JClarkNBCS) October 25, 2018
This tweet from John Clark says it all. Almost half the resell market has been sold to people in Pennsylvania. That is most in history for a London game.
But, it doesn’t stop there. Here is more from the Eagles takeover of London…
