Malcolm Jenkins is Here For the Smack Talk…
Malcolm Jenkins has officially called the Jags out saying that “Kap deserves a Job” after studying the film his opponent this week.
I won’t touch the implications of what he said with a mile-long poll, solely because that’s not what got me excited about the quote.
He’s always been a leader in the locker room. He’s taking matters into his own hands to make his teammates care about the game because I guess Doug either hasn’t been or has been too busy trying to make a game plan work with a completely busted up team.
The Eagles haven’t had any kind of fire lit under their asses since February 5th. They’ve been playing flat and boring football.
Jenkins calling out the Jags “quarterback” is just what the team needed to jump start them and maybe give them some life, not unlike his hit on Brandin Cooks in the Super Bowl. Never Forget.
But if Jenkins is seeing this Jags team and is confident enough to call them out on their “quarterback”, then I stand behind my guy.
I want all the smoke from Jalen Ramsey too. You know it’s a matter of moments until he claps back with something but I really don’t know what he’d be able to say that would cut us deep. “Your team can’t stay healthy. Your team has no good luck at all”. Yeah burn…
This comment is also great because nobody in the world gives a shit about an Eagles v. Jags game at 9:30 AM in London and Jenkins is creating drama to draw attention to the game.
I love the drama and I honestly want the Jags to try to come back with some nonsense and then we’ll all laugh. I’m definitely more interested in the game now and can’t wait to see how the drama plays out.
