People Are Saying Stuff About Patrick Peterson to the Eagles

Get the eyeball emojis ready folks. 

Nothing gets the juices flowing quite like hearing that the cousin of the guy might know from another guy who may know that a team is willing to trade for that said guy, according to a conversation via Instagram DM’s. Those are always reliable. 

Seriously, how trustworthy is a rumor that comes from a phone with MetroPCS?

I wouldn’t doubt that the Eagles offered a few picks for Patrick Peterson. His under Team control until 2021 and is still just 28 years old. That’s a pretty valuable pick up for Howie depending on what the draft picks given up are.

On top of that, Howie, like the rest of us, is probably tired of having guys ON the field who can’t get OFF the field. We’ve just seen one too many 4th & 17 or 4th & 10’s this year to have faith in the defense. You know that scene in ‘A Quiet Place’ where the little kid’s rocket ship makes noise and you think to yourself “shit, he’s about to die”? That’s how I feel anytime a quarterback throws against the Eagles defense in late game situations. Patrick Peterson, please save me from that fear like you are John Krasinski.

I love rumors like this because I need something to take my mind off having a losing record. I want to feel positivity surrounding this team again. An elite corner would definitely bring that feeling back. This is the most excited I’ve been about rumors since Lebron’s agent took a meeting with the Sixers brass in July. He was a Laker 3 hours later but it was a fun afternoon. 

One last thing, I can’t stress enough how dumb the Cowboys are. They are literally so dumb that it hurts us. If they were willing to give up a first round pick for a year and a half of an overrated wide receiver, guess what that does to Arizona’s asking price for Peterson. Even when that franchise absolutely stinks, I find new reasons to hate them.
