Derek Barnett Is Done for the Year Because of Course He Is

Derek Barnett is getting surgery meaning he’s out for the whole year???? YEAHHHHH why the hell not at this point right????

 

What can we do but deranged laugh now?

 

You thought whatever happened last year was going to last forever? Players getting hurt and the “next man up” is even better???

 

That’s fantasy and we witnessed a miracle and please appreciate 2017 for what it was because it was special and this year should prove that.

 

But losing a big piece of the strongest part of our team is going to hurt. Derek Barnett is very under-appreciated. Just watch his film. He’s super quick, strong, and athletic and is on his way to becoming a top DE in the NFL.

 

He will be missed on this defense for sure and this is stunting his growth as a player as well.

 

Now let’s bow our heads in solidarity for those brave Eagles we have lost this year
