The Eagles Might Be Teasing a Pre-Game Meek Performance on Sunday

Oh baby, I can pick up on a few context clues and it seems like we are getting a pre-game Meek concert on Sunday. I wonder what song he would perform!
We are either getting that or an Eagles infused music video for ‘Millidelphia’. I’d be excited either way but I think we need, not want, NEED, a live Meek performance as the team comes out of the tunnel. Look, the secondary stinks. That’s not changing these next few months and it’s time to face that reality. If they got torched by Corey Davis, they are not covering Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. But, if these Eagles were to come out with the adrenaline that comes with listening to Dreams and Nightmares, it may be exactly what could save us from that nerd Kirk Cousins carving our defense up.
Listening to Dreams and Nightmares is pretty much like that meme everyone uses where the brain continually lights up brighter and brighter. When the Nightmares part drops it’s the equivalent to washing an adderall down with an Espresso shot that has Red Bull instead of Half & Half. We need THAT level energy from our defense this weekend. Ultimate chess not checkers move by whatever PR person set this shindig up.
Aside from the energy level the performance will provide the team, I am also excited for the performance in the stands. That’s right, EVERY 55 year old white guy who knows one rap song, and it’s this song. You know the type. He’s had season tickets in his family for the past 27 years, since the Vet days. He turned the RV used for vacations with the kids into a tailgate hub by putting a retro Eagle logo on the side. He listens to Your Love by The Outfield in the parking lot every Sunday there’s a home game while he and his buddies pound Yuengling’s. Recently, this guy had his life changed forever by the lyrics, “Hold up wait a minute, y’all thought I was finished?

When I bought that Aston Martin y’all thought it was rented?”. And now, Sunday is his time to shine. I, for one, cannot wait to see it.

One last thing, you know what would be the ultimate troll move by the Eagles? If they played Crazy Train when the Vikings came out of the tunnel before they come out to Dreams and Nightmares. Just for old time’s sake.

One last last thing. This kid has got to be the honorary team captain for the coin toss on Sunday right? Right?!
