HE’S BACK! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

You’re walking along the beach on a crisp summer morning as the sun rises.

You’re laying in clean silk sheets after a shower.

You’re drinking an ice-cold glass of lemonade on a hot day.

You’re watching Carson Wentz run out of the tunnel at home for his first game since returning.

All of these sentences have the same energy. Refreshing, relaxing, and just in time.

Carson Wentz is back folks and nothing could be sweeter. Nine months, one Super Bowl victory, and two Philly Specials later Carson has finally been reactivated and will start for your Philadelphia Eagles this week against the Colts at home. With a fire lit under of not winning the big one himself, 11 is more motivated than ever to get back out there and snatch allllll the W’s.

After the showing that the birds put together against the Bucs, this could not be more timely. We all love Nicky Nine but Carson throws for 6,000 yards and 47 tudders against that embarrassing Bucs secondary.

Granted the defense needs to not let up 400 yards to a journeyman again but having our MVP back will certainly take some pressure off the defense (@Phillies take some advice that good offense relieves some pressure from the other stages of the game but I digress). And I do mean MVP.

We’ve all seen the film from practice and pre-game and he is very much back. I personally won’t freak out over a small bit of regression or rust but I can also see a ceiling where he goes for 35-40 TD and makes a solid case for MVP again.

So, rest easy Eagles fans. He savior hath cometh backth.
