Doug Pederson Is Having None of Your Shit
Ian “Rat”Oport crossed the line and Doug Pederson was having absolutely none of it.
The NFL preseason has come to an end. There were good times and there were bad times. But, at the end of each preseason, teams have to make tough decisions on who they keep and who they get rid of.
Insert the NFL great insider reporters of the world.
Somehow, in a world where everything is supposed to be kept quiet, NFL insiders get their hands on details and rumors that are supposed to be kept secret. These rumors sometimes are not true. But, in most cases, the great NFL insiders normally get them right.
This is where the once great, Ian Rapoport, comes into the fold. Over the years, many insiders have had their time at the top. Currently, it is Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter. Schefter is tremendous at his job because of the mass of people he has working under him and with him at ESPN. Rapoport, on the other hand, works for NFL Network and has to compete with other reporters.
However, over the past few months, Rapoport, or should I say “Rat”-Oport, has been wrong about everything he has reported on the Eagles. First, it was the report on Carson Wentz starting training camp on the PUP list.
The #Eagles report and have their physicals today, including rehabbing QB Carson Wentz. The most likely, cautious scenario is that Wentz lands on the PUP list, sources say, though he could come off at any time. It would not be an indication that he’ll start the season on PUP.

Second, it was the report on Alshon Jeffery starting the season on the PUP list.
As #Eagles gear up for the season, WR Alshon Jeffery has remained on PUP. Though he’s progressing according to plan, sources say the timing of his rotator cuff surgery — following the Super Bowl win – means there’s a chance he may not be ready for the opener. Could stay on PUP.

Now, his latest one, which could still be true, has driven Coach Doug Pederson to his breaking point. Yesterday afternoon, Rapoport made it known to the world that the Eagles would be starting Nick Foles in the season opener on Thursday.
The #Eagles plan to start QB Nick Foles on Thursday in the season opener, sources say. Carson Wentz (ACL, LCL) has done fantastic in rehab. But this is a long-term decision for the face of the franchise.

Take this with a gain of salt due to the previous reports from Rapoport being wrong. But, Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson was having none of it and voiced his frustration to the Philadelphia Media today.
At the beginning of Pederson’s press conference, he opened with the elephant in the room and made it known he was pissed and not answering any questions on it. Pederson was then asked 4 questions, all about his starter for Thursday, and the answer was the same, “Next Question”.

The great “EROCK” said it best, “This is going swimmingly”. Its a-shame the Philadelphia media members had to go through this because of one national reporter trying to stay ahead.
One thing is for certain from today’s findings. Ian Rapoport, I mean “RAT”-oport, is now lying trying to stay relevant. Doug now can do everybody a favor on Thursday and start Carson Wentz and end Rapoport’s reign at the top.
