So here’s to Temple and it’s proud athletic programs. You stopped focusing on basketball to become a football school. Only to watch Villanova win a National Championship in basketball then have their FCS football program beat you all in a matter of months.
Many people are saying that since Temple lost in such a pathetic fashion, they should not be considered for having a stadium on campus. Those people are dumb. That take is the equivalent of saying, “it’s cold outside so I guess Global Warming doesn’t exist”. If anything this should make you double down on wanting a stadium on campus. Nothing about that atmosphere today screamed “respected football school”. Build that stadium on campus so we can get back to the glory that is a Boca Raton Bowl appearance.
