Mychal Kendricks Could Face “Serious” Jail Time After Being Charged With and Admitting to Insider Trading During His Time With the Eagles
If Mychal Kendricks thought Zach Ertz was only good for being a receiver, wait until his prison sentence starts folks:

In his time in Philly, Mychal Kendricks had one roller coaster of a ride. Going from a potential star, to his unworthy contract, and finally ending his time here with a Super Bowl Championship. You would have thought he would be liked.
Well……………
He is not. After being cut by the Eagles in the offseason, Kendricks signed with the league’s dumpster fire, the Cleveland Browns. Ok. Good for him. Go play for a team that you can hopefully help get better with your experiences in Philly and be a veteran leader they need.
Well……………
Kendricks tried to do that and he is now a very hated man in the City of Brotherly Love. One thing the Browns were good for this year is HBO’s annual Hard Knocks series. The Browns Hard Knocks series has been very entertaining this pre-season and has probably been one of the bests.
However, when you say something that reflects your old team. Well, it will find its way onto the big screen.
During the second episode of Hard Knocks, in the preview for week threes episode, Kendricks opened his mouth and said one of the most false statements ever that drove Philadelphians crazy…
“We’ve got so much more talent in this room than what I did at Philly. It’s not even funny.”
Uhmmmmmmm………. Whattttttttttttttttt…………
Mychal, you know you are talking about the team that has went 1-31 over the past 2 seasons and hasn’t had a winning season since 2007?
In week three’s episode of Hard Knocks, Kendricks had more to say about his former team.
“Playing with Nick Foles, I realized on his long balls, his deep balls, he has a like tear drop effect. He’s tall, he likes to drop it literally from the sky. So corners, make sure the timing is just a little bit slower coming in.”
“86 (Ertz’s number) is the best receiver on the team. Notice I said receiver. When it comes to blocking, you (expletive) hit his (butt) over and over. He doesn’t want no smoke.”
“Big V, Vaitai, he’s so big that his size allows him to do what he does. But he doesn’t have the quickest feet and he’s not the strongest. He doesn’t trust his feet at all. You get on him, his confidence will go down.”
Uhmmmmmmm………. Mr Kelce, say it for me, “ITS THE WHOLE DAMN TEAM”
Seems to me someone is a little salty about not being a bigger part of Jason Kelce’s speech. Well, Mychal, I can tell you your mouth has now brought you into Kelce’s next speech. But, on the wrong side.
Unfortunately for our old friend Mychal, a thing called karma has rolled around.
In a statement released by United States Attorney Bill McSwain, on Wednesday, Kendricks is being charged with insider trading.
WTF.
In McSwain’s report, Kendricks made a profit of about $1.2M over the time of his trading. Here is Kendricks response to the report…

I actually low key appreciated Kendricks season a year ago despite the fact he seems like a headcase. It was the first season in which his hamstrings weren’t made of paper mache. For a linebacker corp that was devastated by injuries thorughout the year, he surprisingly remained healthy. I will never forget his 67 tackle performance against the Carolina Panthers.
But more importantly, I think he had one of the more underappreaciated speeches regarding our Super Bowl run. He sat at his locker in disbelief telling the cameras that he “had never won anything”. I felt that. Aside from the Phillies World Series, I haven’t felt the glory of a championship as a fan, and I’ll never feel it as a player. The combination of joy and shock that came with becoming Super Bowl champions was a feeling that this city has never been overcome with before. It was cool to see a player feel the same way.
So, I hope it all works out for Mychal Kendricks. Although, the DA saying you could face serious jail time if convicted and you saying you take full responsibility does not seem ideal.
