This Weekend Was a Subtle Reminder That Philadelphia Has the Best Fans in All of Sports

You ever look at current events in sports and say to yourself, “wow, I am so proud to be where I’m from”. They definitely have felt that in Boston. Same with New York. Even Chicago. I definitely said it after the NFC Championship game when they got that dune buggy up the Art Museum steps. But this weekend, being a philly sports fan cast a wide range of emotions and we were there to witness it all. Let’s take a look back at some of the best sights and sounds from the weekend it was as proud Philly fans:

Canton Takeover:

I mean, this was a given…

Putting Eagles fans into any setting is like when Miles Teller shows up to the party in Porject X. Yeah, it can be a party without him, but didn’t really pop off until he got there.

Phillies Alumni Weekend:

The juice is back at Citizens Bank Park ladies and gentlemen…

What a weekend indeed. Great marketing tactic by the Phillies to get the team we loved from a decade ago to make us fall in love with the team we have right now.

Eagles Open Training Camp Practice:

What a freaking grand finale to cap the weekend. I am shocked that 40,000 people showed up for a practice and then I remember that a guy ate horse shit to celebrate this team winning and it makes me slightly less shocked…

We want Bama…in attendance numbers.

Every day I think about how much we humiliated the Vikings and the entire state of Minnesota.

40,000 people lined up two hours ahead of time just to watch a team practice. It blows my mind. The dedication we have to that franchise and this team specifically we never, ever be matched. Before we know it, it’s going to be 2028, and we are going to be honoring a decade passing since this special team brought us a Super Bowl. Time flies, ask the 2008 Phillies.
