Using The Philly Special For Your Gender Reveal Is Very, Well, Philly

You know how you see things in Philadelphia going viral (dumpster pools, climbing greased poles) and you think to yourself “that’s so Philly”? Well, we have our next installment of that:

That low snap gave me the WORST anxiety. Whoever was Jason Kelce in this reenactment almost ruined the mother’s 9 months of child bearing.
Regardless, that was AWESOME. There seems to be an endless amount of ways to celebrate the Philly Special but on the uniqueness scale this was a 10/10. We’ve seen tattoos, we’ve seen t-shirts, we’ve even seen it used as a wedding reception intro, but using it to celebrate the birth of your child takes the cake. Special shoutout to the guy in the visor with the headset playing the role of Doug Pederson, that may take this to an 11/10.
I can’t wait until this little girl is old enough to comprehend this video going viral. Then, her dad can sit her down and provide her the story of the 2017-18 Philadelphia Eagles instead of the Birds and Bees talk.
Slightly disappointing that when the ball was spiked it wasn’t blue. If it was a boy, they could obviously have name him Nick and all his friends in would’ve called him “Big Dick Nick” through middle school. Even so, congratulations to this couple on the birth of their new baby girl. It is evident they are already raising their child the right way.
