The Lakers Got King James, But The Sixers Brought Back The King of Northern Liberties

We’re a little late to the reporting party but hey, we’re not exactly Woj:

So, we didn’t get Paul George, we didn’t get Lebron and we still don’t have Kawhi, but by God if we don’t have the best tattoo sleeve in the league.

I know everyone wants to make this huge splash this summer and land a superstar. Well, the Warriors have assured that every move a team makes is irrelevant. Golden State is Michael Vick in Madden ‘04. Just let them have their run. Why waste our money or assets now?

Therefore, I’m totally fine running it back with the same team that won 52 games in Year 1 of the healthy Simmons/Embiid era. You bring back an effective shooting guard at literally half of what you paid him last year. For reference, the Lakers gave Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (and the ankle monitor weighing him down) the same contract.

What a move by Sixers GM, Lena Kakua. Very excited for the Sixers to bolster this roster by adding Kyle O’Quinn instead of Lebron James.

Congratulations are also in order for JJ Redick. I’m genuinely excited to have him back and get Quavo spitting “splash on the wrist like JJ Redick” stuck in my head every time JJ hits a three Wells Fargo Center.
