The Eagles Super Bowl Rings Have Been Unveiled and They Look Like Sex
You’ll never forget where you were the night the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. You’ll also never forget where you were the night you saw the same Eagles get their Super Bowl rings on a shitty quality, Brandon Graham Instagram live video:

I have never been more proud of a group of guys I never met but it felt like my son walked the stage and graduated tonight. After a long time coming, here is what the our first ever Super Bowl rings look like:

Going beyond the pure beauty of the diamond swamped ring, there are more details on these bad boys than ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics:
Ring is made of 10-caret white gold, has 219 diamonds and 17 green sapphires. There is a tribute to the Philly Special in the ring, a silhouette of the stadium, and an underdog mask on the inside of the ring.

The underdog mask. The Philly Special. The Lombardi Trophy. It’s like the rings the Eagles received are the Sparknotes version of the 2017-18 season. It’s a perfect story that has continued some 4 months since we ended the New England dynasty.
In all seriousness, I could not be more happy for everyone involved. Going through old tweets tonight, I realized how negative I was towards the Eagles franchise. Having a ring ceremony and a giant trophy banner draped over the side of Lincoln Financial Field sometimes seemed like unattainable goals. But, every one of those goals has been met. The last chapter of the Super Bowl story has been written.
In the words of the wise poet, Aubrey Graham: I got a really big team, and they got some really big rings.
