“Everybody Wants The Sixers Job”

Well, Bryan Colangelo has lost the job that only nepotism landed him in the first place. Honestly, this whole saga has been a blessing in disguise; we are rid of this moron that was forced upon us in the first place. There wasn’t a really bad time to ditch this guy, seeing as the majority of the fan base didn’t want him at all, but yeah, this was a pretty bad time. The draft is literally two weeks away and free agency will commence 10 days after. For the time being and until they find a GM replacement, Brett Brown will oversee all basketball operations. Before we get into the search, here’s what Colangelo thought about Brett Brown:

You’d think on one of the five burner accounts that were floating out there that he probably, definitely, absolutely knew about he’d see how much his players and our fans respected Brett Brown. I hate the Colangelo family if you haven’t picked that up yet. But, the Brown replacement comments weren’t the only eyebrow raising quotes from Woj in his interview with SVP:

EVERYONE. WANTS. THE. SIXERS. JOB.  The other day was the anniversary of Allen Iverson stepping over Tyronn Lue. Since then, this has been a middling franchise with not many notable moments and at times was downright pathetic. Now, the brightest minds in the league want to ditch their teams to come here. Who can blame them? The Sixers right now have the third best odds in the league to win the NBA Finals next year. You already know the deal, Embiid, Simmons, cap space etc. Not a bad position to be in. A position a lot of smart people (smarter than Colangelo) want to be in.
