Should Bryan Colangelo Get a Divorce From His Wife?
Well, it finally happened. The Philadelphia 76ers did the right thing. As a fan base, it has been hard to trust this ownership group to make intelligent decisions but the inevitable departure of Bryan Colangelo was such an easy decision to make even they couldn’t screw it up.
So now that Colangelo is FINALLY out, the next big question needs to be posed? No, not whether Sam Hinkie will make the greatest return since Jesus but rather: Should Bryan Colangelo divorce his wife?
I hate Colangelo and nepotism is the only reason he had this job in the first place but I firmly believe he had no clue these twitter accounts existed. While he is still at fault for divulging the information for Barbara Bottini to use as Twitter fuel, she pretty much cost him his job. Tweeting confidential medical information about players and criticizing the franchise player are scars that don’t heal over time. They are what players keep in the back of their minds, until it’s time to make a decision in free agency.
The minute Lebron James mocked Colangelo’s burner account situation in the biggest stage in basketball, is the minute that man lost his job.
Jerry Colangelo cannot save his son this time and get him another job that he had no business having. A whole life of work will now be relegated to’ “isn’t that the guy who had those fake Twitter accounts”?
The Philadelphia 76ers are now tasked with finding a new President of Basketball Operations. Bryan Colangelo is tasked with discovering whether or not he can co-exist with his wife after this. What would YOU do?
