OH MY GOD, IT’S HAPPENING: Markelle Fultz is Available to Play Tonight

The Sixers just went ahead and announced Markelle Fultz’ return like it was a Jordan restock:

If there was ever a time to use the gif of Michael freaking out about Dwight’s fire safety drill, now would be that time

In what has been the most peculiar season for a rookie possibly ever, Fultz has gone from a summer league sensation to a “bust” in a matter of months. After continuous strings of uncertainty and blurry iPhone videos of his workout videos the #1 overall pick is fucking back.

I’d say it’s very doubtful Fultz sees any legitimate time but I’m ecstatic he is available. With a solidified rotation that really hit his stride and the fact Fultz till doesn’t have game conditioning yet, it’s posisble he plays 10-15 minutes if not at all.

Even so, one of the major issues with this Sixers team all year is their clear lack of players who can create shots for themselves. The problem rears its ugly head late in games as the paint tightens up and it’s hard for Ben Simmons to penetrate and Joel Embiid to Get post touches. Fultz has the capability to space the floor a little more and you probably trust him at the free throw line (even with the shoulder dilemma) a little more than Simmons.

With the Sixers clinching  a playoff spot I didn’t think the excitement around this team could balloon anymore but with this news, here we are. #TrustTheProcess
