To The West We Go: Previewing the Eagles First Trip to SoFi

Last week was too much of a nail-biter. This week it would feel great to have some smooth sailing but in classic Eagles fashion, it probably won’t. This week they have the Los Angeles Rams, who have been frisky so far this season. The Rams beat a scrappy Seahawks and a decent Colts squad. Their losses are a close one to the 49ers and a close loss to the lowly Bengals. So to summarize, who the f#%k knows what to expect this sunday.

Cooper Kupp is back this week and the Eagles are down Cox, Jurgens, and Sydney Brown. Fletcher Cox going down is big but not as big a deal it would’ve been two years ago, now you have Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis to step up in his place.

The offense looked great last week with Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown connecting for almost 200 yards. They’ll have a tough matchup with Aaron Donald as he’s always a gamewrecker. The defense made Sam Howell look like a Pro Bowler, I’m hoping they can get back to their usual ways and put a ton of pressure on Stafford and the Rams offensive line.

If the offensive line can keep Donald at bay, I think Jalen Hurts and the run game can gash the Rams defense. I’ve been so off with predictions the past couple weeks but here goes nothing, Eagles 21-14.
