Matvei Michkov Is Addicted To Scoring Goals

With the Flyers projected to not be that great once again this year, this is basically going to become a Matvei Michkov coverage blog. Can you blame us? This is the first time in forever that the Philadelphia Flyers have a legit possible superstar prospect. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BE EXCITED AND DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT.

Today there was a 3 on 3 tournament over in the KHL and Michkov and SKA were in action. Guess what the Flyers first round pick did in the first game of the tournament?

Yup, once again Michkov lit the lamp for SKA and gave them an early lead. Just super smooth on the breakaway here. I don’t care that it’s preseason or a 3 on 3 tournament this kid is going to be the Flyers all time leading goal scorer by the time his career is over. Bookmark this blog, screenshot it, whatever you have to do but I promise you he is going to be a legit STAR.

Oh and guess what, he’s a two way player too.

SKA would go onto win their first game of the tournament to move on to the first place game.

Then in the 2nd game Michkov wasted no time and got SKA on the board first.

And he wouldn’t be done just yet as he would add a 2nd goal later on in the game and it was pretty.

SKA would go onto win the game and win the tournament. To top off the great two games that Michkov played, he would go on to win the MVP of the tournament.

This kid is going to be the real deal.
