Bankrupt the Bookie Volume 2: Curing the Post Football Hangover

This time of year is crucial for degenerates like myself. After football the only sport taking us into summer is basketball. The college season ends after March and NBA Playoffs take over until early July. After that we are fiending until football season starts. Now before I get Johnny 3 Bags in my mentions talking about how great it is to win money on baseball let me say that yes I agree with you, it is easy to win money betting the diamond. It isn’t fun to watch the games and it’s only worth betting if an ace is on the mound. Don’t come at me because the MLB can’t market itself.

So let’s get to the picks. Last week I publicly went 1-1 on money picks, 1-3 in the philly school picks (nailed the under) and 2-1 in my Super Bowl picks. If last week showed you anything it should be that I don’t know shit about Philadelphia collegiate basketball. Temple failed to cover against Tulane, Saint Joes barely got past Umass in Philadelphia, and the Drexel Dragons actually won outright against Richmond. Super Bowl was easy and 1-1 in the money is fine because the most you owed was fractions of the original unit. Good news is this weeks slate of games are so easy that I almost feel bad for my bookie. Free money is free money folks.

Philly Schools

Temple heads out to Tulsa as favorites for a 12pm tip off. The spread here is 2 and lower than I expected so Vegas might know something. Does not matter to me I look Vegas straight in the face and laugh. Temple -2 cash it now.

Next up we have Villanova at Marquette starting at 2:30pm. Vegas is giving Nova a point and a half. Its games like these that fall under a special betting rule I have. Rule #4.8 of degeneracy – If Jay Wright and the Villanova Wildcats are ever given points in conference play you hammer them. I will give you two other picks for money but you can count this as a 3rd. In the past 5 years the Cats have only lost 11 times in conference, this year they are undefeated. Do I think the Golden Eagles will keep it close, yes I do. However I have watched a ton of Nova ball and Jay Wright will obliterate you in the last 5 minutes, if they aren’t winning they will keep it close so take Nova at +1.5.

Last Philly game of the weekend is Drexel at home against the 19-6 Charleston Cougars. I am going to be honest I doubted the Dragons last week and I will not do that this week. Take Drexel at +4, maybe head down there, storm a court, go nuts.

Money Picks

Two easy ones for us this weekend. Honestly put them in now and don’t even watch the games, check back after dinner time and what do ya know a little bit extra to spend on Valentine’s Day next week. Call me Cupid I’m out here saving relationships.

First up is Kentucky down south at Mississippi State at 1pm. Kentucky opened as -4 favorites so I would get on this quick because it will go up. The Bulldogs are the biggest frauds in this years standings. They have a losing conference record and have only played mid-majors outside of the conference. I think this one starts tough but the Wildcats come back to cover the spread.

This last game will be one of the best games played this season. Duke at Virginia for the 6pm tipoff. God knows why Vegas has Duke as dogs in this one. I get that they are on the road against a tough opponent that stayed with them at Cameron Indoor this year but such disrespect. Take the Blue Devils +2 because they are basically an NBA team and nobody can stop them now that they are rolling.

That’s all I got but if you do want to follow my picks you can do that at myaction.app/KyleJones2121 to see all the action I get in on and maybe win some money with me. No free ads.
